2023 Lotus Emira price and specs

The Lotus Emira range will expand beyond the V6 First Edition next year, with new four-cylinder options.

The Australian distributor for Lotus has released pricing and specifications for the full range of the British marque’s final ever petrol-powered vehicle – the 2023 Lotus Emira.

Available with two engine options, the low-slung sports car will start from between $155,990 and $173,990 before on-road costs locally for standard variants – following the release of a limited-run V6 First Edition model this July.

An entry-level model is powered by a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine from Mercedes-AMG, sending 268kW/430Nm to the rear wheels exclusively via an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

Performance details are yet to be confirmed for this car. However, it will likely complete the 0-100km/h sprint in under 5.0 seconds on the way to a top speed of approximately 250km/h.

Meanwhile, the flagship supercharged 3.5-litre V6 car is available with either a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic.

This delivers 298kW/430Nm to the rear wheels, allowing the 0-100km/h sprint to be completed in a claimed 4.2 seconds (with the automatic) on the way to a top speed of 290km/h.

Low-profile tyres wrap around 20-inch alloy wheels on both models, with standard two-piece disc brakes contained within.

A 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster is standard across the range, and sits behind an Alcantara or leather-wrapped steering wheel.

Infotainment comes via a centrally-mounted 10.25-inch touchscreen compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Limited-run ‘First Edition’ cars are also on offer – now with the four-cylinder for 2023, following the 2022 V6 – with the full suite of otherwise-optional extras included as standard. You can read pricing and specifications for this model by clicking here.

Six colours have previously been advertised for the range-topping launch cars, however it’s so far unclear if these will be available across the range. Those are: Seneca Blue, Magma Red, Hethel Yellow, Dark Verdant, Shadow Grey and Nimbus Grey. Seven additional hues will become available next year.

The 2023 Lotus Emira is now on sale in Australia.
