EL PASO COUNTY, Colo. — A Colorado Point out Patrol (CSP) motorbike trooper and a tow truck operator experienced minimal accidents soon after a suspected drunk driver crashed into both their autos which were being parked on the facet of Interstate 25 thanks to a prior crash.

McClain’s automobile was parked on the correct shoulder with its unexpected emergency lights activated, CSP said. Straight in entrance of his motorbike was a 2017 Freightliner tow truck, with its amber lights activated, loading the automobile from the initial crash.
About 1:30 a.m. Wednesday, the driver of a 1998 Ford pickup traveled from the remaining lane, across the middle and ideal lanes, and on to the shoulder, where he collided with both the bike and the tow truck.

Bernard Ewertz, 55, of Greeley, was driving the pickup truck, CSP reported. He sustained moderate accidents in the crash. His passenger, a 31-yr-previous Greeley girl, was seriously harm.
Ewertz was afterwards arrested for driving under the impact, according to CSP.
Two lanes of I-25 were closed for about four hrs although the on-scene investigation took spot.
