Elderly man killed in motorcycle crash, Arlington, TX police say

A 71-12 months-outdated person died soon after a bike and an SUV collided Thursday afternoon.

The crash happened around 4:30 p.m. in close proximity to the intersection of N. Middle Road and Thannisch Push in Arlington.

“Investigators think the driver of a 2021 Ford EcoSport was traveling southbound alongside Centre Avenue and attempted to make a still left convert on to Thannisch Generate when a bike driver touring northbound on Centre Avenue collided with the side of the SUV,” police explained.

The 71-calendar year-old male, who was identified as Laurin Carlton, of Arlington, by the Tarrant County Healthcare Examiner’s Business, was driving the motorbike. He was thrown off his motor vehicle and law enforcement claimed he was not wearing a helmet.

Initial responders took Carlton to a area hospital, where by he was pronounced deceased all around 5:10 p.m.

The SUV’s operator, a 49-yr-aged person, who police did not name, remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators, law enforcement explained.
